OVEREATING

Sunday! Some are about to overeat. More so if they are feeling sad, gloomy, depressed inside, or that life is against them.
This is the moment to be alert. Eat with awareness. Do not throw food into your mouth, not even chewing it. Many people are suffering from overeating. Too much food. Others do not have food for their children.
People suffering from obesity, cannot resist eating more and more. No one can help them, unless they become aware while eating. If they do, their eating will slow down. They will start chewing. Once they start chewing they will start to enjoy the taste. The more they chew, the more they enjoy the taste, the more satisfied they are. So chew in awareness, it gives taste. Not just to food. To everything, to life!
To be satisfied by taste you need to eat in awareness. If not, then you will have to eat more to be satisfied. Eating in awareness one eats only as much as his body needs. He feels when he has eaten as much as his body needs. When there is no more need, when the hunger is gone, he is content.
