THOUGHTS - THE FINANCIAL CRISIS

THOUGHTS - THE FINANCIAL CRISIS
What is going to happen?
What caused it and how can we correct the situation to minimize the ill effects?
Has it been orchestrated and by whom?
Are people, countries, whole regions, going to be under control
for decades to come?
How can we avoid it?

There are answers to all the above questions and i have my own opinion but it is not important. What is important, is to realize that every crisis, be it financial or other, does not just happen without reason. And for a reason. If we understand the reasons, then he have all the answers we need.

Institutions, politicians, mega interests at local, national and international level may be involved but interventions do not sprout in unfertile ground. The ground has been gradually prepared for decades. It has been cultivated in so many ways in everyday life and at all levels. This fertile ground is us. If we, each individual making up the whole, the society, country, nation etc was not vulnerable to desire, greed, self importance and gain at the expense of the whole, we would have been immune to their efforts. It could have not happened.

Yet, despite what is going on, despite the storm ahead on the horizon, most of us continue indifferent or unable to act against the inertia of habit. We continue to dealing with, supporting, the same institutions, politicians etc. We continue with the same mentality. We are fully aware of what is happening. It is not something new. We have been evidencing it for decades. Corruption. Politics is synonymous with it. Connections, behind the scene deals, those beyond any law, banks, justice, media, even sports. Yet we continue to interact with the establishment. Not because we are unable to do anything about it. This is our excuse. The truth is that self importance and interest rule. In return we place ourselves above or against the whole. We fail to see that we make up the whole and nothing can change unless the atoms making up the whole change at atomic level first. We fail to see that when others making up the whole suffer, we suffer invariably as well or that when the whole benefits we indirectly benefit too. We hand over our most precious asset, self respect, to become allies with those who do not respect anything and anyone, starting with themselves. All in the name of self importance and personal gain, at any cost.

To change things, we must change first. As individuals. To do it we must find our lost respect. Towards ourselves first, then towards everyone else.

They say nothing happens without a reason and also that everything happens for a reason. We have allowed things to happen over the years because we have allowed ourselves, knowingly, to be used for the sake of self gain and self importance. We have allowed, even encouraged others, to use us.
Things are happening and will continue to happen for as long as we fail to see reality, we fail to understand who we really are, what is important in life and what is not.
